Lakeshore Analytics today announces Chicago Housing Quarterly, a compendium of real estate market statistics on the national, regional, and neighborhood level. The inaugural issue of the report, which includes 66 pages and 104 charts and tables, is available free.

The first look at third quarter home sales in Chicago shows no major citywide changes in sales volume or selling prices:
* Sales of single family detached homes are essentially flat; 9,061 homes sold in the third quarter, compared to 9,076 in the second quarter.
* Sales of condominiums and townhomes rose slightly, from 5,965 in 2Q to 6,125 in 3Q, a gain of 2.7%.
